About Me:
Hello.
My name is Thor but online I go by Jay or my last name Jensen.
Some call me Tornado.
I’m a musician and creative person from the south over here in Scandinavia.
I think a lot.
Too much.
I make music for the love of it.
Screw AI, man.
And screw the man who said “Musicians don’t enjoy making music anymore.”
I also hope to get into photography and basic level of drawing some day.
But music is what I love most.
I've been doing it for 2 decades now, but I have not been releasing
my stuff for that long.
You can also find me on these platforms!

I have 4 music aliases:
1: Tornado Jensen - was created on the 1st of DECEMBER 2022
For expressing my true self.
2: Jay Draugr - was created on the 31st of MARCH 2022
as a filter, for when I forget what my "true self" is.
3: Brain in a CRT - was created on the 19th of OCTOBER 2021 for
fictional movie and orchestral music.
On rare occasions when I do commission work, it is also credited as
Brain in a CRT.
4: S1Nk_dUMPST3R - (Originally known as GiggleSink) was created on the 19th of SEPTEMBER in 2023
as a playground and dump for the
weird pieces of music that fit nowhere else.
Thanks to KIERAL for helping me visualize a lot of the scenes in my head.
Album covers, scenes from the universe I dream up, such.
Talented artist and they’re worth the price!

My Gear & What I Like About It:
Korg Wavestate MKII
I treat this one like a Rompler Synth.
That means I make my own sounds on it, but I only use the waveforms and samples
that comes with it to do so.
Well and occasionally that Fairlight pack I downloaded to it to test it.
Forgot where I got it from unfortunately.
It does rhythmic sequences very well but what it does best for me is pads.
So I use it for that a lot.
The fretless bass sound I often use is also made on the Wavestate.
Roland JV-1080
90s Rompler Goodness.
It has the cheese.
It has the beauty.
And it has the character.
Yes, this one was released in 94, before I was born (02) and yet I fell in love with it.
Old does not mean bad, OK?
I get a lot of inspiration from music from both before and after I came to be.
This one I use mainly the sounds it came with, including the "Orchestral"
and "Keyboards of the 60s and 70s" expansion cards.
I got it because I fell in love with the sound of it.
Absolute dream come true.
Just so happens it was also used in a lot of stuff I grew up with.
Adds nice character and flavor to the music.
Worry not.
I plan to take real good care of it.
I treat instruments like babies.
It's in good hands.
